How we book the ocean responsibly

You book, we brief

Before you arrive, our guides share exactly what to expect and how to interact responsibly with marine life.

Small-group experience

Out on the water in small groups, you see dolphins, reefs, and fish with minimal disturbance to their habitat.

Wild trips stay wild

On the Lovina sunrise trip we watch from the boat at a distance — no feeding, no chasing pods, no swimming with wild dolphins.

Licensed operators only

We book exclusively with licensed, government-regulated operators, and we will tell you honestly which trips involve dolphins in managed care.

Good to Know

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know how to swim?

For Lovina dolphin watching you stay dry on the boat, so swimming is not required. For in-water marine park programs, life jackets are provided and an instructor is always present — tell us your comfort level and we will recommend the right program.

Is hotel pickup available?

Lovina sunrise tours include round-trip pickup from South Bali hotels. For Bali Exotic Marine Park programs, pickup is an optional add-on — ask us on WhatsApp and we will confirm the fee for your area.

What should I bring?

Bring swimwear, a towel and a change of clothes, sunscreen, and your phone or camera for photos. Towels are also available to rent on site. For sunrise Lovina trips, a light jacket is handy for the early boat ride.

Should I choose Lovina dolphin watching or Bali Exotic Marine Park?

Choose Lovina to see wild dolphins in the open sea at sunrise, with no captivity involved. Choose a Bali Exotic Marine Park program for a hands-on, in-water encounter under instructor supervision. Not sure? Message us and we will help you decide.

Is swimming with dolphins in Bali ethical?

We only sell tickets for licensed, government-regulated operators. If avoiding captive-animal interaction matters to you, our Lovina Dolphin Watching tour is a wild, open-sea alternative where no dolphins are kept in captivity.

Is it safe to swim or interact with dolphins in Bali?

Yes. Every session is supervised by a trained instructor, and guests receive a safety briefing before entering the water. Guests with heart conditions, seizures, or certain medical conditions should inform staff at check-in.
