Lovina Dolphin Watching from South Bali

Lovina, on Bali’s calm northern coast, is the island’s classic place to see wild dolphins in the open sea. Just after dawn, small pods surface and play in the flat morning water — no cages, no captivity, just dolphins living free. Our tour makes it easy from South Bali: we arrange round-trip hotel pickup, so you don’t have to relocate to Lovina overnight or drive the mountain roads yourself in the dark.

What to Expect

• Pre-dawn pickup from your South Bali hotel to reach Lovina for sunrise, when dolphins are most active.
• A traditional Balinese outrigger boat (jukung) takes you a short way offshore with an experienced local boatman.
• Around 1–1.5 hours on the water searching for pods. Sightings are common but, as with all wild animals, never guaranteed.
• The calm-sea season runs roughly April to October for the most reliable conditions.
